Google lead form extensions let someone submit their details without leaving the search results. This connection carries those submissions straight into Escape.
What it does for you
Leads arrive within moments and follow-up starts on its own — the same as TikTok lead ads, and for the same reason.
Google leads are worth answering fastest of all. Someone searching AC not cooling is not browsing — they have a problem right now, and they are very likely contacting two or three shops in the same sitting. The first one to call back usually gets the job. Minutes matter here in a way they do not on social.
🔴 Know what happens automatically before the ads run
A lead arriving starts an automatic conversation. Before you turn budget on, make sure you know what the first message says, how many follow-ups go out, where the lead lands, and what stops the sequence when they reply or book.
Ask us to walk through it with you.
What you need on your side
- A Google Ads account with admin access
- A lead form extension already built on a campaign — the connection attaches to the form, so it has to exist first
- The Google account login and its two-factor phone, available during setup
If an outside company runs your Google Ads, they likely own the account. You may need them to grant access or hand it over — worth checking before you ask, because it is the usual delay.
Getting it connected
Ask support, and say which campaign or form if you run several.
🔴 Test it with a real submission
Submit your own form and watch the lead land, before the budget goes up and every time you build a new form. One click, and it is the only real proof the chain works end to end.
🔴 Local Services Ads are NOT included
Google Local Services Ads — the "Google Guaranteed" ads with the green tick at the top of the results — are a separate product from Google Ads, and their leads cannot be connected. This page covers Google Ads only.
This matters because plenty of home-service shops run LSA and nothing else, and it is easy to assume "we run Google ads" means this applies.
If LSA is where your leads come from, they will keep arriving the way they do today — in the Local Services app and by phone — and they will not appear in Escape on their own. Add them by hand, or ask us and we will talk through the options. Do not leave them sitting in the app assuming the system picked them up, because it did not.
Good to know
- Ad spend is between you and Google. Escape does not bill for it or manage the campaigns.
- Only the fields on your form come through — no phone number means no text.
- Google holds leads for a limited window. If a connection breaks and nobody notices, those leads can expire before anyone downloads them. If you get a notice that a connection dropped, treat it as urgent — you are paying for leads that may be falling on the floor.
